Laura Muls is a Belgian visual artist and illustrator who lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium.
Laura creates expressive oil pastel works drawn from the quiet moments of everyday life, exploring the atmosphere of the world around her where nature remains a consistent presence, appearing either as the focus of the work or as a backdrop.
Characterised by vibrant, intuitive colour and energetic, visible strokes, her work prioritizes emotion over realism. Each piece conveys the feeling of a moment rather than its precise appearance, resulting in works that are immediate, textured, and warmly expressive.
Laura has also illustrated three children’s books, a part of her broader work as an illustrator.
